CCYFC SOCCER SCHOOL
When we founded the Soccer School over a decade ago we did so with the philosophy of wanting to see as many young children as adults playing football, learning by having fun and always wanting to come back for more. That philosophy has not changed, but the way the Soccer School has developed means it looks very different to when we started. Back then our first year saw 30 Reception and Year 1 boys which has now transformed into over 100 Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 boys and girls congregating at Chorleywood House on a Saturday morning. We can always take more and will always adjust to accommodate more numbers.
In line with our philosophy we are looking to grow the children’s desire to play football so that we can then progress them into playing squads within the main club. We see a successful Soccer School as essential for the health of the club both in terms of its footballing reputation, but also for its place in the wider Chorleywood community. To emphasise that spirit many of the current coaches began their footballing journey as young boys in the Soccer School and many ex-Soccer School children still play at the club right into the under 18 age groups.
As we continue to grow the numbers strongly in all sessions, but particularly in the girls sessions due to the rise in popularity of girls football, we will always accommodate more participants. Building on that success we are also launching a new midweek session for older girls which will run alongside our core Saturday morning sessions.
Led by Tommy Muckell and his son Harley and supported by the Soccer School founder Russell Hallam and the rest of the team, we look forward to hearing from you and welcoming your children to the Soccer School and becoming part of our CCYFC.

CCYFC Soccer School Holiday Football Camps
CCYFC Soccer School offers School Holiday Football Camps for boys and girls of any ability level, aged between 5 and 12, to develop their footballing skills in a fun and friendly environment. The camps are led by FA Qualified Coaching Team Tommy and Harley Muckell. Our action-packed camps focus on fun, enjoyment and making new friends to enable children to improve their game. The sessions include age-appropriate drills, races, matches, tournaments and penalty shoot outs, all to help the children develop their football skills whilst having fun. All sessions will be delivered by FA qualified coaches with First Aiders in attendance and suitable breaks will be taken throughout the day.
Children are required to bring suitable clothing for all weather conditions (including sun hat, waterproof, sweatshirt etc) and bring sun cream, boots/Astros, shin pads, water bottle and packed lunch.
Bookings can be made for individual days or for a 3-day pass. The core hours of the course are 10am to 3pm, however early drop off sessions from 9am and late pick up sessions until 4pm are available each day at an additional cost. Prior to your child attending you will be required to complete a consent and information form. This will be emailed to you prior to the commencement of the course.
