CCYFC Soccer School Holiday Football Camps

CCYFC Soccer School are running an October Half Term football camp from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th October 2023. Children can attend for a single day or book a 3 day pass.

Our football camps allow boys and girls of any ability level, aged between 5 and 12, to develop their footballing skills in a fun and friendly environment.  The Camps will be led by FA Qualified Coaching Team Tommy and Harley Muckell. Our action-packed Camps will focus on fun, enjoyment and making new friends to enable children to improve their game.  The sessions will include age-appropriate drills, races, matches, tournaments and penalty shoot outs, all to help the children develop their football skills whilst having fun. All sessions will be delivered by FA qualified coaches with First Aiders in attendance and suitable breaks will be taken throughout the day.

Sunday 8th May saw the launch of the FA Women's Just Play sessions run by CCYFC. The sun was out, we were on the fabulous new pitch at St Clement Danes school' and 34 four excited but nervous women turned up to give football a try.

We have now run 3 sessions, but there are another 13 to go......fancy giving football a try? Its not too late, the sessions run every Sunday 6-7pm, and they are completely free. You do need to sign up here first though:

Calling all Women!

Have you always wanted to give football a try but never had the chance? Or perhaps you used to play but would like to get back into it. Well here is your chance!

Chorleywood Common Football Club are running FA Just Play sessions beginning 8th May, on the new 3G pitch at St Clement Danes School. The sessions run from 6-7pm for 16 weeks and are FREE of charge and open to all women over the age of 18, whether or not you have previous association with the club or not.

Our plan is to keep these sessions very informal and flexible to begin with, and after a few weeks be guided by the group as to how they want them to develop.

Remember it doesn't matter how old you are or what your footballing experience or ability is, if you want to play football we want to give you the chance.

And best of all, it's absolutely FREE for the first 16 weeks.

Please register your interest by completing the form in this LINK

Please note, for insurance purposes,  by completing the form you agree to become temporary members of Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club until the end of August 2022.

As the season gets into full swing we would like to remind all our parents of the need to park respectfully of others. We need to remember that the parking spaces are shared with the Tennis Club and other users of the Chorleywood House Estate.

In particular no one should be parking in the three passing spaces on the narrowest part of the lane up to the club. When these cannot be used to allow traffic to flow then it is possible for the queue to go all the way back to the club. If these spaces are empty then there tends not to be any issues.

All managers should mention this to their opposition coaches and ask them to share with their parents; after all there is not much point in our members keeping them free if our guests don’t.

Many thanks for your help in this matter.
