CCYFC Boys & Girls Summer Tournament 2024
We are delighted to announce the return of the girls and boys CCYFC Tournament on Saturday 18th May 2024 and Sunday 19th May 2024!
The cost to enter will be £50 each team.
The Tournament will be held at CCYFC, Chorleywood House Estate, Rickmansworth Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 5SL.

The dates for Saturday Morning Soccer school for Micros, Minis, U7 training group and Girls Soccer School and Boys & Girls Development Training have been updated for the Spring/Summer 2024.

Second U9s CCYFC girls team for next season!
If your daughter is interested in playing football and will be 9 in the next school year, note that CCYFC is setting up a second girls team given growing demand in the local community.
League games are typically played on Saturday mornings with training on Wednesday after school.

CALLING ALL U8 GIRLS!
We are always looking to recruit more female players at the club and where better a place to start than in our Soccer School! All girls in Reception to Y2 can start learning new football skills in girls only groups and then progress into the U8 team. In previous years, we've created one new U8 team, but this season we hope to have 2 teams - so contact us now and get your daughter involved!

FA Just Play!
Sunday 8th May saw the launch of the FA Women's Just Play sessions run by CCYFC. The sun was out, we were on the fabulous new pitch at St Clement Danes school' and 34 four excited but nervous women turned up to give football a try.
We have now run 3 sessions, but there are another 13 to go......fancy giving football a try? Its not too late, the sessions run every Sunday 6-7pm, and they are completely free. You do need to sign up here first though: https://forms.gle/XeFw7rEgMftFWH4V8

Calling all Women!
Have you always wanted to give football a try but never had the chance? Or perhaps you used to play but would like to get back into it. Well here is your chance!
Chorleywood Common Football Club are running FA Just Play sessions beginning 8th May, on the new 3G pitch at St Clement Danes School. The sessions run from 6-7pm for 16 weeks and are FREE of charge and open to all women over the age of 18, whether or not you have previous association with the club or not.
Our plan is to keep these sessions very informal and flexible to begin with, and after a few weeks be guided by the group as to how they want them to develop.
Remember it doesn't matter how old you are or what your footballing experience or ability is, if you want to play football we want to give you the chance.
And best of all, it's absolutely FREE for the first 16 weeks.

The cost to enter will be £50 each team with an Early Bird discount of £40 if you book by the end February.
The Tournament will be held at CCYFC, Chorleywood House Estate, Rickmansworth Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 5SL.

CCYFC YOUTH FORUM
CCYFC are delighted to be implementing a Youth Forum specifically designed to:
- Allow your young player to have a say in what we do at CCYFC!
- Have & gain a youth perspective on what we do at the club & the wider football community.
- Get involved in planning youth events.
- Broaden their life skills such as: planning, organisation, strategy, making presentations and decision making.
- This is an opportunity open to all between the ages of 10 – 17.

PARKING AT CHORLEYWOOD HOUSE
As the season gets into full swing we would like to remind all our parents of the need to park respectfully of others. We need to remember that the parking spaces are shared with the Tennis Club and other users of the Chorleywood House Estate.
In particular no one should be parking in the three passing spaces on the narrowest part of the lane up to the club. When these cannot be used to allow traffic to flow then it is possible for the queue to go all the way back to the club. If these spaces are empty then there tends not to be any issues.
All managers should mention this to their opposition coaches and ask them to share with their parents; after all there is not much point in our members keeping them free if our guests don’t.
