Roy joined Chorleywood Common Youth in 1996 when his eldest son Ross attended U7 training.
A few years later he took on the role of manager to the U10 Green side, which went on to win the u18 County Cup final in April 08.
He finished managing the U18 White side in May 2010, For whom his other son Craig plays for.
He has been elected as Club secretary for 5 seasons now.
He completed the FA Junior Team Manager course in 2001
